Travel Plan Tuesday

Last time I talked about where to stay when you visit Disney World. There are so many options to consider! If you missed out, you can read more about it here.

Today we are going to talk about tickets and packages that are offered by Disney World. And in true Disney form, there are so many options to choose from. There truly is something for everyone and every budget available!

Disney has what they call "Magic Your Way" packages. What they include is your base tickets for the parks and your hotel room. This is the basic package that you can get, but there is so much more that you can add on!

When thinking about your park tickets, you can get your base tickets - anywhere from 1 to 10 days - and add a Park Hopper, which allows you to "hop" from one park to another within the same day. This option is great for people who will not have as many days in the park and want to see more, or if you want to take advantage of different restaurants. You can also add the Water Park Fun & More option to your tickets. Adding this allows you access to both water parks, DisneyQuest, ESPN Wide World of Sports, and Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course. This is a fantastic option if you are looking to do more at Disney than just the 4 parks and could be perfect in the warmer months to take advantage of the water parks! The last option when considering tickets is the No Expiration Option. If you choose this option (not available on 1 day tickets) then your tickets will never expire. If you have 10 day no expiration tickets, and you only use 5 days on one trip, the other 5 days will stay on your ticket and still be valid until you use them all up - even if it takes you years to get back!

Once you have your hotel room and your tickets figured out, the next thing to think about is adding the dining plan to your package. This can be a great way to not have to worry about pulling out money each time you eat somewhere and a great way to try new restaurants that you might not normally try! With the dining plan you pay a certain amount depending on the package you choose and the only thing you have to worry about while you are in Disney is tips for Table Service restaurants. I will be going into more detail about the Dining plan next week!

The one thing about Disney is that they truly have a package available for any budget! With so many options to choose from, each family can get there own personalized Disney vacation!!
